Convenient and local care for pregnancy, post-delivery and newborn babies is still available at Plumas Rural Health Center.
We are pleased to announce our collaborative care model that lets pregnant patients get prenatal care (up to 36 weeks) at Plumas Rural Health Center and then deliver in a neighboring hospital. Early on in pregnancy, our team supports each woman in their decision making process for the selection of a hospital for delivery. We work one-on-one to help ensure a smooth transfer of care to the delivering hospital of their choice. Once baby is born, women can resume all care for themselves, their newborn baby and their families in our conveniently located Quincy office.
